About Us

When Mick and I first saw the White Lodge Guest House here in the charming small town of Westgate on Sea, we fell in love with its lovely location, its beautiful Victorian stature and charmingly proportioned rooms. 

Its customers were generally very happy with its facilities and atmosphere of casual comfort and many had returned time and again.  A good basis for a new beginning.  Like the guests, we appreciated its general homely atmosphere, but fully recognised that many aspects were in need of some much tender loving care!

So, now some months later, the process of improvement has well and truly kicked in.   Double-glazing has been installed, rooms have been decorated and the new beds (we are told) are enticingly comfortable!

Indeed, much work has been done to try and make every aspect of our customers’ stay more comfortable and we will not cease to continue along the road of improvement.

Mick and I feel immensely pleased at the very positive responses from our guests which we continuously receive, not least at the satisfaction expressed for our tasty full english and vegetarian breakfasts.
